Scope An executing party, for example, a transfer agent, sends the RedemptionOrderConfirmationAmendment message to the instructing party, for example, an investment manager or its authorised representative to amend a previously sent RedemptionOrderConfirmation message. Usage The RedemptionOrderConfirmationAmendment message is used to amend one or more previously sent redemption order confirmations. Each individual order confirmation amendment specified is identified in DealReference. The reference of the original individual order is specified in OrderReference. The message identification of the RedemptionOrder message in which the individual orders were conveyed may also be quoted in RelatedReference. The message identification of the RedemptionOrderConfirmation message in which the original order confirmations were conveyed may also be quoted in PreviousReference.

Extensibility and generalization considerations
To facilitate generalized design patterns in the system, the RedemptionOrderConfirmationAmendmentV01 implementation follows a specific implementaiton pattern. First of all, RedemptionOrderConfirmationAmendmentV01 impleemnts IOuterRecord indicating it is the outermost logical part of the message definition. Like all message wrappers, RedemptionOrderConfirmationAmendmentV01Document implements IOuterDocument. Because RedemptionOrderConfirmationAmendmentV01 implements IOuterDocument, it is a suitable template parameter for IOuterDocument, and causes the internal ‘Message’ to be of type RedemptionOrderConfirmationAmendmentV01.

Document wrapper for serialization
The only real purpose RedemptionOrderConfirmationAmendmentV01Document serves is to cause the document to be serialized into the ‘urn:iso:std:iso:20022:tech:xsd:setr.052.001.01’ namespace. Therefore, it will probably be the usual practice to build the message and construct this wrapper at the last minute using RedemptionOrderConfirmationAmendmentV01.ToDocument() method. The returned RedemptionOrderConfirmationAmendmentV01Document value will serialize correctly according to ISO 20022 standards.
