Scope An executing party, for example, a transfer agent, sends the TransferOutConfirmation message to the instructing party, for example, an investment manager or its authorised representative, to confirm the delivery of a financial instrument, free of payment, on a given date, to a specified party. This message may also be used to confirm the delivery of a financial instrument, free of payment, to another of the instructing parties own accounts or to a third party. Usage The TransferOutConfirmation message is used to confirm the withdrawal of a financial instrument from the owner’s account and its delivery to another own account, or to a third party, has taken place. The reference of the transfer confirmation is identified in TransferConfirmationReference. The reference of the original transfer instruction is specified in TransferReference. The message identification of the TransferOutInstruction message in which the transfer instruction was conveyed may also be quoted in RelatedReference.

MasterReference building block

Extensibility and generalization considerations
To facilitate generalized design patterns in the system, the TransferOutConfirmationV05 implementation follows a specific implementaiton pattern. First of all, TransferOutConfirmationV05 impleemnts IOuterRecord indicating it is the outermost logical part of the message definition. Like all message wrappers, TransferOutConfirmationV05Document implements IOuterDocument. Because TransferOutConfirmationV05 implements IOuterDocument, it is a suitable template parameter for IOuterDocument, and causes the internal ‘Message’ to be of type TransferOutConfirmationV05.

Document wrapper for serialization
The only real purpose TransferOutConfirmationV05Document serves is to cause the document to be serialized into the ‘urn:iso:std:iso:20022:tech:xsd:sese.003.001.05’ namespace. Therefore, it will probably be the usual practice to build the message and construct this wrapper at the last minute using TransferOutConfirmationV05.ToDocument() method. The returned TransferOutConfirmationV05Document value will serialize correctly according to ISO 20022 standards.
