TransferOutConfirmation

sese.003.001.01

Scope The TransferOutConfirmation message is sent by an executing party to the instructing party or the instructing party’s designated agent. This message is used to confirm the delivery of a financial instrument, free of payment, at a given date, to a specified party. This message can be used to confirm the transfer of a financial instrument to an own account or to a third party. Usage The TransferOutConfirmation message is used by an executing party to confirm to the instructing party that the withdrawal of a financial instrument from the owner’s account and its delivery to another own account, or to a third party, has taken place.

Message Construction

Every ISO20022 message has at the highest level what we call ‘building blocks’. Because the message is constructed as immutable records, the association is by composition. Below you can see the relationship between the message and its constituent building blocks: For comparison, see the ISO20022 official specification

Extensibility and generalization considerations

To facilitate generalized design patterns in the system, the TransferOutConfirmation implementation follows a specific implementaiton pattern. First of all, TransferOutConfirmation impleemnts IOuterRecord indicating it is the outermost logical part of the message definition. Like all message wrappers, TransferOutConfirmationDocument implements IOuterDocument. Because TransferOutConfirmation implements IOuterDocument, it is a suitable template parameter for IOuterDocument, and causes the internal ‘Message’ to be of type TransferOutConfirmation.

classDiagram
    class IOuterRecord
    TransferOutConfirmation --|> IOuterRecord : Implements
    TransferOutConfirmationDocument --|> IOuterDocument~TransferOutConfirmation~ : Implements
    class IOuterDocument~TransferOutConfirmation~ {
        TransferOutConfirmation Message
     }

Document wrapper for serialization

The only real purpose TransferOutConfirmationDocument serves is to cause the document to be serialized into the ‘urn:iso:std:iso:20022:tech:xsd:sese.003.001.01’ namespace. Therefore, it will probably be the usual practice to build the message and construct this wrapper at the last minute using TransferOutConfirmation.ToDocument() method. The returned TransferOutConfirmationDocument value will serialize correctly according to ISO 20022 standards.
