Scope SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport is sent by an account servicer to an account owner to provide, as at a specified time, the details of pending increases and decreases of holdings, for all or selected securities in a specified safekeeping account, for all or selected reasons why the transaction is pending. The account servicer/owner relationship may be:

Extensibility and generalization considerations

To facilitate generalized design patterns in the system, the SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport002V13 implementation follows a specific implementaiton pattern. First of all, SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport002V13 impleemnts IOuterRecord indicating it is the outermost logical part of the message definition. Like all message wrappers, SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport002V13Document implements IOuterDocument. Because SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport002V13 implements IOuterDocument, it is a suitable template parameter for IOuterDocument, and causes the internal ‘Message’ to be of type SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport002V13.

Document wrapper for serialization

The only real purpose SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport002V13Document serves is to cause the document to be serialized into the ‘urn:iso:std:iso:20022:tech:xsd:semt.018.002.13’ namespace. Therefore, it will probably be the usual practice to build the message and construct this wrapper at the last minute using SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport002V13.ToDocument() method. The returned SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport002V13Document value will serialize correctly according to ISO 20022 standards.
