Scope An account servicer sends a SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport to an account owner to provide, as at a specified time, the details of pending increases and decreases of holdings, for all or selected securities in a specified safekeeping account, for all or selected reasons why the transaction is pending. The account servicer/owner relationship may be:

Extensibility and generalization considerations

To facilitate generalized design patterns in the system, the SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport002V08 implementation follows a specific implementaiton pattern. First of all, SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport002V08 impleemnts IOuterRecord indicating it is the outermost logical part of the message definition. Like all message wrappers, SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport002V08Document implements IOuterDocument. Because SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport002V08 implements IOuterDocument, it is a suitable template parameter for IOuterDocument, and causes the internal ‘Message’ to be of type SecuritiesTransactionPendingReport002V08.
