Scope The CorporateActionInstructionCancellationRequestStatusAdvice message is sent by an account servicer to an account owner or its designated agent to report status of a previously received CorporateActionInstructionCancellationRequest message sent by the account owner. This will include the acknowledgement/rejection of a request to cancel an outstanding instruction. Usage The message may also be used to:

Extensibility and generalization considerations

To facilitate generalized design patterns in the system, the CorporateActionInstructionCancellationRequestStatusAdviceV09 implementation follows a specific implementaiton pattern. First of all, CorporateActionInstructionCancellationRequestStatusAdviceV09 impleemnts IOuterRecord indicating it is the outermost logical part of the message definition. Like all message wrappers, CorporateActionInstructionCancellationRequestStatusAdviceV09Document implements IOuterDocument. Because CorporateActionInstructionCancellationRequestStatusAdviceV09 implements IOuterDocument, it is a suitable template parameter for IOuterDocument, and causes the internal ‘Message’ to be of type CorporateActionInstructionCancellationRequestStatusAdviceV09.

Document wrapper for serialization

The only real purpose CorporateActionInstructionCancellationRequestStatusAdviceV09Document serves is to cause the document to be serialized into the ‘urn:iso:std:iso:20022:tech:xsd:seev.041.001.09’ namespace. Therefore, it will probably be the usual practice to build the message and construct this wrapper at the last minute using CorporateActionInstructionCancellationRequestStatusAdviceV09.ToDocument() method.
