Scope The FundConfirmedCashForecastReport message is sent by a report provider, such as a transfer agent or a designated agent of the fund, to a report user, such as an investment manager, a fund accountant or any other interested party. This message is used to report the confirmed cash incomings and outgoings of one or more investment funds, on one or more trade dates. These cash movements may result from, for example, redemption, subscription, switch transactions or dividends. Usage The FundConfirmedCashForecastReport message is used to provide definitive cash movements, that is it is sent after the cut-off time and/or the price valuation of the fund.

Message Construction

Extensibility and generalization considerations

To facilitate generalized design patterns in the system, the FundConfirmedCashForecastReportV02 implementation follows a specific implementaiton pattern. First of all, FundConfirmedCashForecastReportV02 impleemnts IOuterRecord indicating it is the outermost logical part of the message definition. Like all message wrappers, FundConfirmedCashForecastReportV02Document implements IOuterDocument. Because FundConfirmedCashForecastReportV02 implements IOuterDocument, it is a suitable template parameter for IOuterDocument, and causes the internal ‘Message’ to be of type FundConfirmedCashForecastReportV02.

Document wrapper for serialization

The only real purpose FundConfirmedCashForecastReportV02Document serves is to cause the document to be serialized into the ‘urn:iso:std:iso:20022:tech:xsd:camt.041.001.02’ namespace. Therefore, it will probably be the usual practice to build the message and construct this wrapper at the last minute using FundConfirmedCashForecastReportV02.ToDocument() method. The returned FundConfirmedCashForecastReportV02Document value will serialize correctly according to ISO 20022 standards.
