FAQs
Here are some frequently asked questions.
Why isn't the ISO 20022 repository snapshot more up-to-date?
The snapshot used by this tool is always the latest one made publicly available on the ISO 20022 e-Repository. Each new release requires adaptation and testing before it can be integrated, but you can expect any newly published version to be available within days, not weeks. The release schedule is controlled entirely by the ISO 20022 working groups and administration — we integrate new snapshots as soon as they’re released.
What is the relationship between the ISO 20022 Organization and Beneficial Strategies?
There is no relationship between the ISO 20022 Registration Authority, its working groups, or ISO 20022.org and Beneficial Strategies. Beneficial Strategies is an independent company and is not endorsed, sponsored, affiliated with, or approved by the ISO 20022 organization in any way, express or implied.
The Beneficial Strategies AI knowledgebase is built entirely from specification artifacts that ISO 20022.org has published to the public to promote adoption of the standard. Our goal is to make those publicly available materials more accessible through AI tooling, and to help organizations fast-track implementation — not to replace engagement with the official standard or its governing bodies.
We encourage all users to participate directly with the ISO 20022 community at iso20022.org for authoritative guidance, working group participation, and official documentation.

I notice my AI client isn't supported yet. When will it be?
Soon, we hope — and maybe sooner with your help.
Beneficial Strategies is a small team, and we can only actively test against the clients we use day-to-day. The “Not Yet Supported” label means exactly that: we haven’t verified the connection ourselves, not that we know of anything that would prevent it from working. The MCP Server implements the Model Context Protocol, an open industry standard designed to be client-agnostic — any compliant client should be able to connect.
If your client isn’t on our tested list, we encourage you to try it during your trial period and let us know how it goes. Your feedback directly shapes which clients we prioritize next. You can reach us on the contact page.
If you’ve purchased a subscription for a client that turns out not to work, and you weren’t able to get any value from the product as a result, a refund is the obvious right outcome — just contact us and we’ll make it right.
